    Special Announcement from SCV Convention Chairperson:
     
    Dear AA and Alanon Community
     
        It is my sincerest wish that all of you and your loved ones are healthy and well.  There are a vast number of Zoom meetings so I hope you are feeding your spiritual vault.
        I am sorry to say that all upcoming special events, including the Santa Clarita Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous with Alanon Participation are cancelled this year.  With a bit of luck and a whole lot of prayers we will start up again after the first of the year.
        If you purchased tickets for the Spaghetti dinner or the Convention, we will be giving refunds. If you bought tickets through Eventbrite your funds will be returned automatically. If you purchased with cash or check a refund request form is available from our website instructing what needs to be done to get your refund.
        I know these are trying times and many people are struggling financially, emotionally and physically. Please do all that you can to take care of yourselves. Covid 19 is a scary disease but we deal with a killer disease of Alcoholism every day and it needs to be treated. Get your Zoom Meetings, read the Big Book, talk with sponsors and reach out to a newcomer when you can.
        Stay well my family and should any of you need someone to talk to I am available any time.
